Catarina MONTEIRO SANTOS

is a Founding Partner of AndLaw AVOCATS.

She earned a Bachelor of Laws in 2011 and a Master’s degree in Civil and Criminal Law in 2012 from the University of Geneva. In 2013, she obtained a Certificate of Specialisation in Legal Practice from the Geneva Bar School. That same year, she completed a traineeship at the Legal Department of the LAVI Center, where she applied her knowledge of criminal law in practice.

She began her traineeship as an attorney in 2013 at Nanchen Avocats et Consultants (formerly Nanchen, Mathey-Doret et Bron), a law firm that also acted as the Geneva representative of Indemnis, the professional liability insurance for lawyers, and where she additionally worked as a legal representative of the State. Following her admission to the Geneva Bar in 2015, she established LMS Avocats. At the same time, she served as a legal clerk at the Tribunal des Prud’hommes.

On February 2019, Catarina Montero Santos joined BST as a partner. The firm later rebranded as NOMOS Avocats and subsequently as AndLaw AVOCATS, where she continues her practice as a founding partner.

She advises and represents both private individuals and legal entities, primarily specialising in judicial litigation across civil and criminal cases. Her key areas of practice include the law of obligations and contracts, family law, and immigration law. She possesses particular expertise in civil liability and social insurance law.

Catarina Montero Santos is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English. She is a member of ODAGE, the Swiss Bar Association (FSA) and the Swiss crimal law Association (SSDP).
